Just another weekend....

Nothing really to blog about, but maybe I am not looking hard enough?
Really it was a pretty standard weekend. We did some shopping, went to church, Kristen and Jacob tried to get pictures done and the boys enjoyed some pretty nice weather while playing in the yard. Good family time and a somewhat relaxing way to spend the weekend...as it was one of only a few that have come this summer without plans or designated activities. Now that we are getting closer to school starting, things will start to pick back up and I have a feeling that I will have many more blog worthy things to discuss.

Sunday stuff

I didn't post on Sunday, but it was a nice day with the family. We went to church and the kids got to play. We all went on a walk / bike ride around the neighborhood. The boys were so tired and sweaty from riding up our hill that we didn't want to touch them! Finally in the evening, we watched a movie that Kristen and I enjoyed...Must Love Dogs with John Cusack. I laughed quite a bit during this one. I just hadn't seen too many movies lately that had great dialogue like this that made me laugh. So, grab it from your local store or the library (Kristen gets an A+ for picking a good movie and for getting it for free).

Busy Weekend

We were at a picnic today at a friends house. The boys played baseball, ate cake, ran around like crazy and even managed to work together on a tandem swing. They had been at the library earlier in the day and brought home books and movies. They watched one of the movies when they got home and off to bed so that we can make church in the morning. Not sure if we are having bible study or not, but I am anticipating it...so, I had to finish my study and notes for leading that tomorrow. I am also keeping up with my schedule for reading the New Testament in 90 days, finishing up The Shack and planning my talk for the two weeks at my men's breakfast that will happen in a little less than 2 weeks from now. It has definately been a busy weekend.

Tired

Had a long weekend filled with activities. Jaden and Jacob walked in a parade. We had church and small group. Just a bunch of things to do. I will post some pictures and video from the parade this weekend...but it has taken me all night to download everything off of my phone so that I can share. You know, I love my phone and I am constantly amazed at what we can do we technology anymore, but sometimes...like at 11:30 at night when you are still trying to get things done...it starts to seem like a whole lot of trouble :)
