Proverbs 8

The only thing that caught my attention today as I read through Proberbs 8 was that it was yet another place that talked about God's design of the universe. Verses 22 through 36 are all about wisdom being there at the beginning of creation as God put things into motion. I guess I just find it interesting in light of the continued debate on creationism versus evolution.

The design of the universe certainly shows the wisdom of God.

One of the greatest proofs of the existence of the creator God is the design that can be seen in the laws and constants of physics that enable to universe to exist as it does. Design choices have been made, in the number of dimensions of space, the number of forces, the nature and relative strengths of those forces. These design choices show that there must have been a master designer to decide that the universe would be the way it is and not some other way.

Thank you for the post. That is exactly right. Creation has to have a creator. It is a logical construct that is an absolute.

I personally was enjoying the aspects in Proverbs where wisdom is personified and speaks as a participant in creation. How true! As you said, the incredible details, the wisdom and forethought that God had to put into His plan to get everything right as it is in the world is beyond comprehension.
