Proverbs 30:5-6

5 "Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
6 Do not add to his words,
or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

This is one of those reminder passages of how much bigger God is than us. How little we truly know. We can know plenty by spending our time in the Bible. In fact, we can never fully grasp everything that is in the Bible. But, to all of us that are parents teaching our kids, those of us teaching Sunday School or Bible studies or those of us giving biblically sound advice to our friends, we have to make sure we are not adding anything to the truths God has given us. God's word is enough.
